With the fervor of election time comes the silliness of the campaign season when political signs seem to disappear into thin air.
All three communities have seen political signs disappear.
Bethany Democratic Town Committee Chairwoman Carol Goldberg said her town committee members were just beginning to put signs up since they disappear so quickly this time of year.
In Orange signs get moved around as well as disappear with most elections.

But a sign on Center Road in Woodbridge reacting to the theft of 'NoBama' signs in itself is stirring up the community.
The elevated wooden sandwich board sign reads "Will the morons who stole our NOBAMA signs please die." According to town officials the police department has received a large outpouring of concern about the display.
The sign is on the property of Chuck Pyne.
Contacted for comments Pyne said he was not looking for publicity his intent was "to insult the people who stoled our signs. Signs that were paid for."
Republican Town Committee Chairman Donald Celotto reacted to the signs.
"It seems to be a statement out of frustration at their signs having been removed. As far as the politics of the situation the people of Woodbridge have always respected others privacy and certainly understand the difference of political philosophy. Not withstanding all of those things it is regrettable that the frustration has resulted in a message that is strident and certainly disproportionate," Celotto said.
Democratic Town Committee Chairman Gerald Weiner said presidential signs supporting Barack Obama have been stolen all over town and his town committee members have replaced them throughout town twice already.
"Their reaction to the alleged theft is unwarranted," Weiner said.
"We would never think of putting up a sign like that. Unfortunately it is part of the culture out there. It is regrettable the language used on the sign about dying. It is most unfortunate and irresponsible. I would hope the people would reconsider and take it down immediately. The climate of destructive politics has no place in our society," Weiner said.
Woodbridge Building Inspector and Zoning Enforcement Officer Terry Gilbertson said there are no regulations for political signs in town. He said he views the sandwich board as a political sign and the owner has a right to voice his opinion.
Gilbertson said there was nothing his department was going todo about the sign. "I do not plan to take any action on the sign," Gilbertson said.
